Dirty Bore Custom is proud to announce that we have been authorized to convert and build rifles in the 41 Great Lakes chambering. Dirty Bore is the first gunsmith in Maryland to offer this high efficient, straight wall chambering.

The .41 Great Lakes is a high-performance, straight-wall hunting cartridge designed for deer hunting in regions with specific firearm restrictions. It offers superior ballistics, high terminal energy, and manageable recoil compared to alternatives like the .450 Bushmaster, often used in AR-15 platforms and bolt-action rifles. It also offers:

• Performance: It is considered a legitimate 400-yard deer cartridge, with 200-grain bullets achieving over 2600 fps and 3000 ft-lbs of muzzle energy.

• Design: It uses a .411 caliber bullet and a .30-06 case cut to 1.7 inches, allowing it to comply with straight-wall, limited-firearm zones.
